About Quantum Systems Integration

How we work
In quantum systems integration engagements, we act as the vendor-neutral general contractor for quantum computing platforms. We sit between you and the component ecosystem — selecting the right parts, doing the integration engineering, and delivering a working system.
Architect and Select
We start by understanding your target applications, qubit requirements, operational constraints, and sovereignty needs. We design the system architecture and select QOA-compliant components — evaluating QPUs, control electronics, cryogenic platforms, and ancillary hardware from across the open ecosystem. We manage procurement and vendor coordination.
Build and Integrate
We assemble the quantum computing platform: physical hardware integration, cross-vendor interface resolution, wiring and signal chain configuration, and software stack development. We develop the OS and middleware layers — writing custom code, integrating open-source components, and configuring vendor modules into a coherent, working system.
Calibrate, Validate, and Deliver
We calibrate the system — characterising qubit frequencies, optimising gate parameters, tuning readout — and establish the continuous calibration processes needed to handle quantum hardware drift. We benchmark against agreed performance targets. We connect the platform to your HPC or enterprise infrastructure. We deliver an operational quantum computer.
Support and Evolve
Quantum systems require ongoing attention — hardware drifts, firmware updates, new components become available. We provide ongoing calibration support, compatibility updates, and upgrade planning. When a better QPU or controller hits the market, we help you integrate it.
Quantum Platform Integration
We work with your engineering, data and R&D teams to design and implement quantum and hybrid algorithms and applications, integrated with your existing platforms. That includes workflow design, algorithm selection, tooling, and secure deployment patterns.

Quantum OS, Middleware & Integration Layer Development
We develop and deploy the software stack that sits between quantum hardware and applications — the layer that makes an assembled quantum computer actually work as a system. Custom development, open-source integration, and vendor module configuration, deployed and validated on real hardware.
- Architect and build hardware abstraction layers, calibration automation, and control interfaces for specific QPU/controller combinations.
- Integrate open-source and vendor middleware modules (Qiskit, TKET, Riverlane Deltaflow, Q-CTRL, Quantum Machines QUA, etc.) into a coherent stack.
- Deploy, validate, and maintain the integration layer on the actual hardware, with source code and configuration under the client's control.
Quantum Enterprise & HPC Integration

Quantum System Calibration, Validation & Operations
